The summer refreshment U Oskoruše in Strážnice Vineyards offers wine, coffee and beautiful views from the tower. It is located on the route of the Czech Trail in the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area. Ideal for hikers and cyclists. Open May-September. We will be happy to see you here.

We are glad that you felt the genius loci of our place - that is exactly what we are trying to do, to make you feel the special atmosphere of the vineyards and the landscape. Martin thank you for your review and for visiting our place and the lookout tower. We are very pleased to hear from you as an experienced evaluator. We are pleased that you enjoyed the promised view from the observation tower - that is what we are all about. Regarding the stability of the structure - we are checking the moisture content of the larch wood and at your suggestion we did this with the help of the Wood Research and Development Institute Prague (currently 10-12%) and all the supporting elements are statically connected to the steel parts. The wooden structure naturally moves slightly but is safe. Thank you for your attention to detail and for mentioning our future pizza. We keep our fingers crossed for your expeditions, out into the open waters, adventures of discovery, and we have no idea when the currents and winds will bring you back to your place at Oscorus. Until then, gentle favourable waves to all of you staying ashore. Perhaps our paths will cross again one day.

We were there in the off-season (late March) and yet the gentleman served us. The service was very kind and it was a beautiful spot among vineyards.

We’re sorry you had to drink beer other than draught – unfortunately, at the start of the season, when we don’t yet know how many guests will arrive each day, the keg is like a little puppy waiting to really let loose. We hope that a shot of something a bit stronger warmed you up at least a little. Next time, when the season is in full swing, we’ll have draught beer. It can't be seen, but we felt it - genius loci. We intentionally led our bike trips around the area here for a taste, thanks to the nice reactions on Mapy.cz. We stayed, enjoyed the peace and Mr. Černý delighted us with his stories and a bit of education. Thank you.

Dear Markéta, thank you so much for those lovely words. 🍷❤️🍷 ‘You really must stay a while here’ – that is exactly what we strive to offer people and to preserve. Not just to pass through, not just to have a drink, but to stay a while. To pause, take a breath and let the place work its magic on you.
Thank you also for the photo of our handwritten wine list – it’s the work of our colleague Radim, who puts a touch of his artistic talent into every detail. Anyone who’s been here knows that board and will recall the moments spent with the wine they chose from it. And anyone who hasn’t seen it yet will understand once they stand where you took the photo and read the stories of the individual wines that come from the vineyards.
Here, nobody asks anything of anyone or expects anything – just come, discover and relax. The natural surroundings, the tranquillity and the authenticity of the vineyards are here for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Strážnice vineyards.

The landscape of the Strážnice vineyards, which you can see from the viewpoint, is the work of dozens of neighbours and small-scale growers who tend their vineyards, orchards and fields all year round. We are merely a metaphorical window, allowing you to pause, look around and appreciate the depth and beauty of this place, which is protected and developed by the White Carpathians Protected Landscape Area.
