Kojčice is a municipality in the Pelhřimov District, in the Vysočina Region, with a population of 353. The Hejlovka stream flows through the valley northwest of the village. The first written mention of Kojčice dates back to 1379, when it belonged to the estate of the Prague bishops in Červená Řečice and later to the Říčanský of Říčany in Pelhřimov. Kojčice was an independent municipality from 1850–1979 and again from November 24, 1990; between 1980–1990 it was part of Pelhřimov. The village appears in the film *Marečku, podejte mi pero!* as the residence of student Plha’s parents.
