Skorkov is a municipality in the Mladá Boleslav District, Central Bohemian Region, with a population of 716. It lies on the right bank of the Jizera River between Brandýs nad Labem-Stará Boleslav and Benátky nad Jizerou. The first written mention dates back to 1332. In 1932, two pubs, a blacksmith, a shoemaker, a general store, a savings and loan association, and a newsstand were registered here. Skorkov was an independent municipality until 1985, when it was merged with Sojovice, but it became independent again on January 1, 2000, following a referendum. In 2025, it was announced that gravel sand would be mined here. The municipality was granted its coat of arms and flag in 2001. Nový Vestec also belonged to the municipality between 1850–1880.
