Vyšehoří is a municipality in the Šumperk District of the Olomouc Region, with a population of 277. The first written mention of the municipality dates back to 1397. From 1850–1975, Vyšehoří was a municipality in the Zábřeh District and subsequently in the Šumperk District. From 1976 to 1991, Vyšehoří was a part of the municipality of Bludov, and since January 1, 1992, it has been an independent municipality again. The municipal coat of arms and flag were granted on May 13, 2003, by a decision of the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
