The ruins of a massive 18th-century windmill are located near Příčov in the Příbram district. This unique technical marvel, registered as a cultural monument, has a circular plan over 13 meters in diameter and was likely built in connection with the local Schönpflug Castle. The windmill, of Dutch type, is deteriorating and, despite partial conservation efforts in the past, its condition is currently critical. It is one of the largest windmills in Europe.

An impressive ruin of an unusually large windmill. A real landmark of the surroundings. It was surprising to me how thick the walls of this structure are, when it is obvious that it must have been relatively expensive to build.

Mill torso away from the hustle and bustle. A quiet place to relax. Very nice reminder of old times.

Beautiful place, parking is right by the mill. It is usually quiet there. There is also a relatively dark sky and you can beautifully photograph the mill with the Milky Way (as much as possible).
