Stašov is a picturesque village in the Pardubice Region, located near Polička. The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1557, but its history goes further back. The dominant feature is the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary from 1873, built on the site of an older, burned-down Baroque church. In addition to the church, the rectory and the Empire-style house no. 5 are also protected. Stone was mined here in local quarries in the past.
