The Evangelical Parish Church of Hermannseifen in Tschechien was built in 1786 as a Church of Tolerance, following the introduction of the Reformation in the 16th century and the reformation of a Protestant congregation. It served as a house of worship until 1948 and was later left to decay, with the church tower roof being removed in 1991. Today, the church is a ruin with an interesting history, a testament to religious tolerance and the passage of time.

Despite the reviews from the "informed" here, there is no need to ask the residents of the neighboring rectory, just respect their privacy. The church belongs to the municipality, and a lot of information is available on the internet, the most complete history including photos can be found on the website of the municipality of Rudnik.

Immediately after arriving by car closest to this ruin, we were scolded by the gentlemen we stopped, according to their words, on the property. We just wanted to ask a few questions. The gentlemen did not even say hello and immediately chased us away with the car. The attitude of the gentlemen was so appalling and so unpleasant for us that we preferred to leave the place immediately without going to the ruins to have a closer look. We preferred to look at the ruins only from the road.

Interesting place, but we weren't sure if we were trespassing. There is also a lot of rubble/dumping on the ground.

According to the latest information, the neighbouring parish has a new owner from March 2024 and the inhabitants of the parish are to allow tourists to visit the church torso at the owner's request. If one follows the safety instructions (do not go where the tapes are), the visit to the building is possible. It is a monumental building that deserves to be saved.
